Trash & Recycling Chute Unclogging

Don't Let Your Chute Clog – Clogs Will Damage Your Chute

Let the Professionals Handle It

Our team is trained to deal with nasty, biohazardous situations where capacity and trained crew must be organized to clear a chute quickly. All trash is removed from the chute and trash room and dispatched with; a turn-key service we provide to remove the overwhelming hassle of clearing a clog.

Why do clogs occur?

Damage to the lining of the trash chute, causing trash to snag

What damage will a clog cause?

Lateral forces on the chute column from the weight of a clog put additional stress into the anchor points that keep the chute vertically aligned. Severely clogged chutes will become dislocated as the weight exceeds the lateral design capacity, and will cause intake door separation and other issues requiring repair.

Are clogs dangerous?

Clogs can silently hide between levels in a chute, going unnoticed, waiting to dislodge at any moment even when all of the intake doors are locked. Clog removal risks include exposure to large amounts of trash, damage to the chute, and fall and drop hazards – our professionals are equipped to do the job safely.

Why clean after a clog?

Garbage bags and trash inside a clogged chute will compress as weight is added from above. This weight squeezes trash juices from the bags, which flows down the wall of the chute and onto the compactor or dumpster below. Our professional trash chute cleaning service rinses all this out and leaves the chute like new.
